On The Fly: Defenceman Jack McIlhargey started his NHL career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1974. Along with Larry Goodenough, McIlhargey and his moustache arrived  in Vancouver in 1977 by way of a trade that sent Bob Dailey to Philadelphia. McIlhargey worked the Canucks’ blueline for parts of four seasons before finishing his career with the Hartford Whalers.
