Les Bleus: The French national team lines up in Chamonix in January of 1924, where they finished fifth among the seven teams taking part. From left they are: Bobby Monard, Andre Charlet, goaltender Charles Lavaivre, Jacques Chaudron, captain Alfred de Rauch, Pierre Charpentier, Léon Quaglia, and (I think) Albert Hassler. France lost 15-2 to Great Britain and 22-0 to the USA before beating Belgium 7-5 to finish the tournament. Quaglia and Hassler both also competed in Men’s Speed Skating, finishing 15th and 18th respectively. (Image: Agence Rol, Bibliothèque nationale de France)
