Some of the greatest names in the history of the Boston Bruins have held the captaincy of the team through the years. Somehow, over time, the Bruins have forgotten six of those captains. Their absences have been pointed out to the team and proof provided; to date, the Bruins have failed to acknowledge their oversights. Coloured gold here are the Bruins not recognized in the team’s all-time register of captains, the same ones who are mostly ignored, too, in the standard references.
